Leadership & Student Engagement SMS Program

1. The DMU Leadership & Student Engagement SMS Program is operated by Dangerous Men United, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching leadership and life skills primarily to college students. Students participate in small campus-based groups and attend events hosted throughout the United States. By opting into this program, you agree to receive SMS text messages related to:
- Leadership training and life skills programming
- Event invitations, reminders, and updates
- One-on-one support communication
- Giving and donation information
- Information related to online orders
- General organizational announcements
Messages are sent via our business line powered by Twilio.

2. Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary based on your level of engagement, participation in small groups, events, and support requests. You may receive recurring messages. Typical frequency is 2–6 messages per month, but may vary depending on events and participation.

3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

4. Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number you received messages from. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.If you want to rejoin, you may opt in again as you did the first time, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
